At NLeBike.com, we are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality electric bicycles and exceptional service. To enhance your ownership experience, we offer an Extended Warranty Service, providing an additional 12 months of repair coverage beyond the original factory warranty.
Definitions
1. Extended Warranty Service: An additional 12-month repair service available for purchase, extending coverage beyond the standard factory warranty.
2. Customer: Individuals or entities who purchase electric bicycle products from NLeBike.com and opt for the Extended Warranty Service.
3. Non-Human Damage: Issues arising from product quality defects or natural malfunctions under normal usage conditions.
Service Period and Activation
• The Extended Warranty becomes effective immediately following the expiration of the original factory warranty and remains valid for 12 months.
Coverage
The Extended Warranty covers repair costs, including parts and labor, for non-human damage affecting the following components:
- Motor: Internal failures leading to operational issues.
- Battery: Performance failures or inability to charge/discharge properly (excluding natural capacity degradation).
- Controller: Electrical system failures or circuit malfunctions.
- Display: Non-functional or malfunctioning displays.
- Sensors and Wiring: Breakages or malfunctions not caused by external factors.
- Charger: Internal failures preventing normal charging.
- Frame: Cracks or fractures not resulting from accidents or misuse.
- Front Fork and Shock Absorber: Internal failures or oil leakage not due to external impact.
- Brake System (Non-Wear Parts): Hydraulic system oil leaks or brake failures, excluding standard wear and tear.
Exclusions
The Extended Warranty does not cover:
- Consumables: Items subject to regular wear, such as tires, brake pads, chains, bulbs, kickstands, brake cables, disc brakes, and seats.
- Normal Battery Aging: Capacity degradation considered typical over time.
- Appearance Damage: Cosmetic issues like scratches, paint peeling, or aging of plastic parts.
- Human Damage: Issues resulting from collisions, falls, water immersion, improper use, or mishandling during transportation.
- Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs: Problems arising from unauthorized disassembly, repairs, or alterations.
- Force Majeure: Damages caused by natural disasters, fires, wars, or other uncontrollable events.
Warranty Claim Process
1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out via email at customer.service@nlebike.com, providing your order number and a detailed description of the issue, along with relevant photos or videos.
2. Evaluation: Our team will assess your claim within 3 business days.
3. Resolution: If approved, we will arrange for repair services or replacement parts. NLeBike.com will cover the costs of parts, shipping, and associated labor. Additional transportation expenses, such as on-site technician visits or travel to service centers, are the customer’s responsibility.
Customer Obligations
• Proper Use and Maintenance: Adhere to the guidelines in the User Manual and follow official recommendations for use and care.
• Avoid Unauthorized Repairs: Refrain from disassembling or modifying the product to maintain warranty eligibility.
• Provide Documentation: Submit proof of purchase and evidence of Extended Warranty when requesting service.
Refund Policy
• Cancellation: You may cancel the Extended Warranty within 14 days of receiving your electric bicycle for a full refund.
• Post-14 Days: Cancellations are not accepted after 14 days. However, if a full refund is issued for the bicycle due to a product quality issue, the Extended Warranty fee will also be refunded.
• Refund Method: All refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Ensure your account information is accurate to facilitate the refund.
Limitation of Liability
NLeBike.com is not liable for:
• Indirect Losses: Such as loss of revenue, business interruptions, or missed opportunities resulting from product issues.
• Personal Injuries: Injuries resulting from product defects or malfunctions during use.
• Third-Party Claims: Claims from third parties for damages caused by product failures.
Total liability under the Extended Warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the bicycle.
